Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius once wrote about how we should all use metaphorical mirrors to examine our life and what we leave behind for our legacy. It's an interesting concept, as we often think about mirrors in a different way.
For example, when you typically think of a mirror, what comes to mind? Something you can physically touch that shows your reflection, right? But your reflection only shows when you are in front of the mirror. If you're not standing in front of the mirror anymore, your reflection simply goes away until you come back.
But what happens if you suddenly don't come back anymore? Your reflection goes away and can never come back either-- that is unless you find a way to preserve your reflection.
What if there was a way to keep your reflection around all the time? Even well after you're gone someday? For future generations in your family to get to know you, get to see you, get to learn from you, and about you?
Reflections aren't just about physical appearances, but can be about what's also going on inside someone. A reflection can show if someone is happy or sad, if they've lived a good life, show past scars, how much a person has grown, and so much more. Reflections can tell stories.
If only there was a way to preserve something as special as that...
At Reflekta, we have solved that dilemma. We've created a way to take your physical and emotional mirror reflections and turn them into what we call 'Reflektions.' A way to interact and engage with memories, stories, and voices from the past. Over time, physical looks can fade, mirrors can break down, ink from old letters can wear out--but at Reflekta, the 'Reflektions' you create will always remain.
If you haven't had a chance to meet our featured 'Reflektions' on our home page just yet, take a minute to "meet" and "interact" with Arthur and Virginia. Go ahead. Ask them anything you'd like. They'd be happy to show you that 'Reflektions' are lasting reflections of one's life well lived that can now be shared for generations to come.
