Our Biographer guides you through the process using AI-powered conversation. You can ask it questions, share stories, and memories. You work directly with our Biographer to build and refine your Reflektion as you go.
What is our Biographer like?
Our Biographer is your AI guide for building your Reflektion.
Think of it as having a conversation with someone who knows how to help you uncover the stories, memories, experiences, and details that make a person unique.
You can ask our Biographer any question as you build your Reflektion. You can also share information naturally rather than trying to organize everything yourself.
Our Biographer can help you:
- Discover stories and memories you may want to preserve.
- Answer questions about the Reflekta process.
- Add and develop information for your Reflektion.
- Edit or refine your Reflektion as you go.
- Help you decide what information is meaningful to include.
- Continue building your Reflektion over time.
1. Start your Reflektion
After log in, begin by adding a Reflektion, and agreeing to the terms of service.
Enter your Reflektion’s name and begin your guided interview with the Biographer. You don't need to download any software or even have everything prepared before you start. You can begin with what you already know and add more information over time.
2. Talk with your Biographer
Your Biographer will guide you through a conversational process designed to uncover the information that helps bring your Reflektion to life.
You can answer its questions, ask your own questions, or simply share a story or memory that comes to mind.
There is no required script to follow.
3. Share what matters
Your stories, memories, experiences, photos, voice recordings, and other information build a rich interactive experience.
High-quality voice recordings are important. Use clear recordings with minimal background noise, music, echo, or other people speaking in the background. The better the quality of the original voice recording, the better the results can be.
You don't have to provide everything at once. Your Reflektion can continue to develop as you add more information.
4. Edit and build as you go
Your Biographer can help you make changes and add information to your Reflektion throughout the process.
If you remember something later, want to clarify a story, or think of something you would like your Reflektion to know, you can continue the conversation and build from there.
5. Start interacting with your Reflektion
As your Reflektion develops, you can interact with it through conversation and explore the stories, experiences, perspectives, and information you've provided.
Do I need to prepare anything before I start?No.
You can start with whatever you already have. You don't need to write a biography, organize years of photos, or come up with a list of interview questions before you begin.
The Biographer is there to help you through the process.
If you already have photos, recordings, letters, stories, or other meaningful information, you can add those to your shoebox as you build your Reflektion.
Can I add information later?Yes. Your Reflektion isn't something you have to finish in one sitting.
You can continue adding memories, stories, and other information over time. Your Biographer can help you develop and refine your Reflektion as you go.
What if I don't know what to say?That's completely fine.
